　　Elizabeth 　　I couldn't stop thinking about how I felt feeding from the alpha. It was like I was renourished, and my strength and feelings for him intensified. I sighed and continued to brush my hair. I joined Aerys in the bedroom; he was already ready to go outside.  　　"Human breakfast?" he smiled at me, and I smiled back, nodding. We walked downstairs side by side, and we were so close that I could feel his eyes on me. 　　Everyone was there when we arrived in the dining room. Iris rushed to hug me, and I held her back. We all exchanged pleasantries before I took my seat next to Aerys. Even the former alpha smiled at me. Breakfast went on delightfully.  　　"Liace Yule admitted to the court this morning that the vampire confessed to her that the evidence against Elizabeth was fabricated but said nothing out of jealousy. She wanted our family to turn against Elizabeth," Athena suddenly said, beaming. So, that bitch knew all along, I hope I don't cross paths with her anytime soon.
