Elias himself was a man with magic—his was vast, but not nearly as impressive as the Warlock's. The Warlock was, by far, the most impressive she had ever encountered. Lucia seemed to salivate at the thought of their confrontation. They had found Elias within a large mansion, and for some reason, Talia felt Celine’s presence all around. But she wasn't complaining; the look on Talia’s face was more than enough to stir dread within Lucia.
Elias stood, flinging himself backward, his eyes not on Talia, but rather on Lucia and the Warlock. “I know what I’ve done,” Elias declared, standing tall. “And none of this is new to me.” He turned his gaze toward Talia. “But I did it for the sake of my pack. You cannot come here, claim to take revenge, and then pitch your tent within my own buildings and expect me not to retaliate.”
