Swim pulled off the hood that had obscured her face from as many people as possible. In truth, only those who knew her personally might have recognized her. But just for good measure, she had spent time painting her hair black using the ashes from the fire. It was quite easy for the blonde to turn a bit ashy and blackish, but of course, once again, it was only if you knew her personally that you might be able to tell.
So Celine pushed her way through the crowd, moving closer and closer to the council building. She had gotten lost at least four times over the past hour, and despite having set out earlier than planned, she still had no idea where she was or where she was going.
"Hello," she said, grabbing someone close by. The man looked at her arm, then at her, with a raised eyebrow. He gently pried her off and shook his head. "Filthy werewolf," he said, easily reaching for his magic as he walked away.
