As the door clicked shut behind me, it felt like my burdens had gotten heavier. I should be worried about the masked Alpha but instead I was worried more about Logan. As his mate, I should be able to comfort and give him the support he needs but it felt like I was completely useless. I headed downstairs and sat on one of the couches in the living room, rubbing my temple slowly.
“Luna,” Akira softly called while she stood beside me. “Are you alright?”
I heaved a sigh. “Yes.”
“Can I join you?”
I nodded and she sat beside me.
“Please tell me if I can help in any way, I would gladly do my best,” she mumbled and I spared her a glance.
