"How are you??" Heather asked happily.
"I'm still alive, my dear. I still am," he then turned to me, "Sorry son, I didn't get your name. You are?" he stretched a hand out.
I looked at Heather then back at him. I shook his hand.
"Hello, Sheriff Bates. Long time. I'm Sheridan. Sheridan Wesley."
