Chapter Eleven
It had taken me a long time to convince Killian to leave the room. He had been stubborn, refusing to get off my bed. I couldn't complain that much. We cuddled and talked about random things. I told him about the time when I was six years old and I had cut my hair with scissors because Noah told me that when boys get a haircut, their hair turns into a rainbow. Of course, it was a lie, and I ended up a crying mess on my mother's lap. Killian told me of the time he had confused the Elven king for a woman in the middle of a treaty negotiation. To say he was mortified was an understatement of the century. It almost caused a war.
Finally, after a while of pleading on my end and stolen kisses from him, he had decided to go downstairs and satisfy his roaring stomach, which was practically screaming by then. He sat quietly on the counter stool, his head resting quietly on his left. I could feel his scalding gaze on me. He had been sitting there as I busied myself with making us breakfast. At first, I didn't want to go downstairs with him, I was comfortable where I had been. He could leave, and I could read until he came back. That was my plan, but it changed when he gave me the most ungodly Eyes, they weren't bad. As a matter of fact, they were adorable. I had caved within the first three seconds. I'd definitely need to build some immunity in the future, I have a feeling those puppy dog eyes will be the death of me one day.
I placed a full plate of pancakes and bacon in front of him and sat down next to him. My plate was hardly full. Unlike Killian, I didn't have such a large appetite. There were only two slices of bread and an omelet. Killian however had eight strips of crispy Bacon and five stacks of pancakes curtesy of me and by the look of how he had dug his fork into it and how he was gobbling down the food he really did enjoy it. We ate in silence, both of us enjoying the other's company.
"What do you want to do today, little one," he asked as he got up and placed our now empty plates into the empty sink.
"I don't know, it's rare for me to have time for myself apart from when I go to sleep. I usually read, but I don't feel like it right now.
Plus, I am technically still in this pack, so I doubt Alpha Micheal would like me walking around like I own the place, I think I'll just lie low until we leave. "
The last thing I wanted was another really awkward talk with the elders and Alpha. As much as I really don't care what they think, I still need to be weary of them.
"You're my future mate and the soon-to-be queen, in my opinion. This land is, by law, yours as much as it is mine. My wolf has been agitated for a while now; perhaps a little fight will help it calm down. "
I became weak. felt his breath on my neck, his hands pushing my hair to the side as he traced soft kisses along the length of my neck, I grew weak,
"Or maybe something else," he whispered in my ear.
I felt my body shamelessly react to his touch. He was so primal, so god-damn sexy that I could hardly think straight. He knew the effect he had on me, and he loved it. My wolf, the seductress, was prowling at the edge of my consciousness. She wanted me to let her take control, like last night.
It was as if a light had switched on in my head. I had wanted him as much as he wanted me, but I didn’t want it to be that easy. I had wanted him to fight for it, I wanted him to desire me to the point where he was begging to be inside me. My wolf wasn’t as submissive, she’d be damned if she acted like it too. She was an alpha. She wanted control, and he was willing at that time. He was willing to relinquish control. The more I pushed, the more aroused he got. It was exhilarating.
"Killian, not here, someone might see."
"Let them see, Goddess, you’re so damn sexy. I want to slam you against the wall and pleasure you until your voice is hoars from screaming my name." He groaned in my ear. His words sent shockwaves right through me.
I wanted this to go as far as possible. But I needed to be rational; no matter how badly I wanted him to take me on the island counter and ravish me until I was satisfied and in a dull state of euphoria, I needed to stop this before it got too far.
"Killian, no, it’s the kitchen." I we ' Oh goddess, "
His wands were now sliding under my shirt, his mouth just inches away from that sweet spot. I was losing it, but holy cheesecake, it felt sublime. And then it stopped. He pulled away from me and laughed.
Okay, let's stop. How about we take a walk outside,"
"You’re a big tease." I whimpered, and he laughed even harder.
"Says the one who grinned all over me yesterday, then left me high and dry."
"I didn’t leave you high and dry, Andrew knocked on the door and I thought it was important that he needed to talk to you. And I didn’t plan on "grinding on you." It's just that my wolf and I are a little starved in that department, and you’re so hot, and it just happened. I just think we need to slow down, and I am clearly not the rational one in this, so you need to be. "
"You think I’m how?"
"Killian, did you just understand anything I’ve just said."
"Sure I did. Your wolf is a horny beast that wants to be ravished, and I can’t really complain about that. You think I am the most attractive shifter you have ever seen, and that is why you want to jump me every time. You also said something about how you like to push my boundaries and desperately want me inside you."
"That is NOT what I said!" I half screamed as he looked at me questioningly.
"Really, I could have sworn you just told me that."
"No, Killian, I said that I didn’t plan on grinding on you and that it sort of just happened and that I stopped because Andrew wanted to talk to you and that you’ll have to be the responsible one in the relationship because I can't keep my wolf in check.
Well, Genesis I did hear you, your wolf is a horny slut that’s waiting to come out, and you can't help sexually harassing me, It’s okay I’m not mad, just give me a heads-up next time you want to get nasty. This is a kitchen."
"Kilian, you came on to ME!"
"It’s okay to be passionate Genesis; there’s no need to lie,"
What in the name of all that is good and sacred is happening right now, I tried to hold myself back. I wasn't sure if Killian was pulling my leg or just trying to rile me up, but one thing was certain: The Lycan knew how to get under my skin. What was I to do with him.
"Fine, let’s go for the damn walk," He smiled up at me with a look of pride and satisfaction. He thought that he had won this little game that he had decided to start. I scowled. I never knew a thousand-year-old Lycan could have such a childish side to him, I liked it.
Sure, but let me go get a shirt first, I know Lycans aren’t slaves to the elements, but I don’t want you to assault me in front of people. I need to dress decently, for your sake. "
"Just get the damn shirt, Killian, and I'll be fine," he says.
"Are you sure,"
"Yes, I’m sure..." wait, no.... Hey, that’s not funny," I said, noticing my small little mishap. He had already ran out of the kitchen laughing. Something tells me that forever won’t be dull with him around.
