Aunt Celia's car made its way down the familiar street towards Maria's family house. Maria, seated comfortably in her rattan chair in the yard, watched the approaching vehicle with curiosity. She leaned forward slightly, squinting her eyes as she tried to make out the figure behind the wheel.
"Jackson," she called out to her grandson, who was standing nearby, "do you think that could be Celia?"
Jackson, who had been lost in thought, snapped back to attention at Maria's question. He stepped forward, shading his eyes from the morning sun as he peered down the road. "Hmm, it could be," he mused with uncertainty. "But I can't quite tell from here."
