Madison frowned slightly. "You followed me into the ghost shrine?" Sebastian nodded, causing Madison to frown harder. She stared closely at him, as if trying to look into his soul. The ghost shrine might be aligned with negative energy, but it was extremely opposed to foreign energies. It wouldn't have allowed negative energies of the same element to enter. Even Mia and Yara couldn't enter. Only Sebastian could, apparently. Not only had he entered the shrine, but Madison hadn't even been able to sense his entry. In that case, there could only be one possibility—Sebastian was more powerful than she had predicted. His astral body was powerful enough that the shrine allowed his entry out of fear.
