Justin stared at those three pills in shock. The chilling dread, brought by the unknown, surged and churned through his heart. Christopher was calculating, cunning, and cruel. Everything he said could easily be a clever manipulation of words. Perhaps these pills were simply poison, and Christopher wanted to kill him without spilling any blood. “If I take them all, will you let Bella go?” Justin parted his lips.
