Chapter Eighty Nine: Secrets and Obsessions

Nora got up from the floor when she heard the sound of another vehicle approaching. She dusted the back of her dress, hissing below her breath. The vehicle approached her car on a reverse, and Nora furrowed her brows. It was a towing vehicle. Two men stepped out of the vehicle, not bothering with introduction. They latched chains from their own car beneath hers. "Excuse me. What are you doing?" Nora demanded, approaching them. "That's my car." "Yes. We know that." The driver responded. His partner was busy securing the chain around Nora's car to tow it out of the building. The driver intercepted Nora's path when she attempted to stop his partner's actions. "I said, stop what you are doing!" "Oh, you have arrived." Rowan approached them. He nodded in acknowledgment at the two men. Nora turned to face Rowan, holding her hips. "What do you think you are doing?" "Following orders, Madam. You are to be removed from this premises at once, and you've been banned from coming back."
