Chapter Thirteen: A Strange Feeling
"The missing wallet hasn't been reported by the hotel," Mark reported.
It had been over a week now that Canaan had misplaced that wallet. It contained essential information about himself. A lot of his IDs were inside it.
IDs that had taken him years to finish their documentation and acquisitions.
The loss of the wallet was a huge blow to him, but there was nothing he could against it now.
Canaan had a suspicion of who his wallet could be with. The room he had lodged in at the hotel had been scoured multiple times by the attendant, yet the wallet couldn't be found.
It wasn't as if the wallet was a pin in pool of water. Although, it was small, it wasn't that conspicuous that it couldn't be easily discovered.
"What about that woman? Has her location been discovered?"
"From the time she left the hotel that morning, it was as if she went off the face of the earth.
I tracked her back to her pack, but she wasn't there either."
