Darius' POV
"Sir, if there's nothing else, could you please let go of my arm?"
Seraphina frowned, her gaze fixed on the hand gripping her arm, resistance flashing in her eyes.
Her expression perfectly mirrored the reason she’d kept her distance from me for so long—knowing where I lived, where I worked, even that I’d been searching for her all this time. Yet, she remained indifferent.
I slowly loosened my grip, but Seraphina didn’t spare me a glance. She turned and walked into the house, leaving me standing there, motionless.
For Seraphina, the priority was to escape from this crazy man. For me, after finally finding her, the shock of discovering her memory loss hit me like a thunderclap, destroying everything in its path.
I dragged myself back to the car, my grip tight on the steering wheel, ready to leave. But no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t give up.
If Seraphina had lost her memory, it meant all the painful memories had been wiped clean from her mind. T
