Marianne. All that filled my head as I combed my hair before the mirror was kissing Cole last night. My first kiss and it was with the enemy yet it was the most euphoric feeling I’ve ever had all my life! I haven’t been able to stop smiling sheepishly since the morning dawned. I touched my lips and felt a little spark ignite in the area. I remember how much I swore never to accept him but here I was, the same fool falling for the charms of my mate. He did have his flaws but that was what made him all the more irresistible to me. I might be in captivity but for the first time, I was yearning to spend the entirety of my day with my mate. A gentle knock graced my door, tousling my thoughts. I eagerly strode out of the bathroom and headed straight to my door knowing fully well it would be no other person than my favorite annoying man. His joyful grin was what welcomed me the moment I opened my door. His gray eyes beamed with so much love and warmth. “Good morning,” he toned sweetly, a
