Chapter 32 The Deal

When Alice woke up, she realized she was still in the hotel. "I gotta get back home!" She jumped out of bed, but halted when she spotted Marvin emerging from the bathroom. "You're up," he said, having just finished a bath and now sporting a bathrobe. Alice couldn't help but admire his toned muscles that she had touched before. "Your gaze could make me melt, Miss." Blushing, Alice looked away, knowing she had a lot of work to do before she could conquer this man. "It's morning," she said. "I need to head back home." "WE'RE HEADING BACK HOME," Marvin declared. The bed shook. When Alice tilted her head, she saw him sitting next to her. "But you need to eat first," he demanded. "Eat? Didn't I just eat last night?" "Yesterday and today have different dates." Marvin picked up the phone and called for room service. "I am still full," she said. "Then just grab a bite. It's not good to leave your stomach empty." He leaned closer to her and wrapped his arm around her shoulder. "
