~ Ervin ~ My eyes snapped open, while my mouth took a huge breath. I breathed heavily and stared at the blue sky while thinking what just happened to me.. ‘We’re alive again.. Urghhh’ I heard my wolf voice and I realized what just happened. Soon I felt someone was holding my hand tightly and I slowly turned my face as I was greeted with James’s face. My heart tightened as I remembered everything we talked in a few minutes ago. Tears filled in my eyes as I looked at his ashen face. I looked down and saw he was holding my arm tightly while our blood connected us. Did he just give his life to bring mine? Why? I didn’t want this. “Ervin..” I pressed my lips together and looked at Octavia who was looking at me with tear filled eyes. I just couldn’t help myself. I was just lost. My mind kept repeating what James said before running towards Verena with a happy smile on his face. I smiled at Octavia and soon she hugged me, I kissed her head and clenched my jaws while wanting to force the pain
