“We can’t find her anywhere,” Xavius said as he entered the infirmary. I had a cold cloth pressed to the side of Dante’s face as I turned to peer at him. “We looked fucking everywhere. Are you sure she said she’s running errands? What exactly in her words did she tell you?”
I sighed, positioning the cloth on Dante's forehead before I straightened up and turned to face him. “She said she’s going to stock up on essentials and meds. That’s it. She didn’t say anything else when she left. That’s it.”
