Moaning in pain, Anna's eyes fluttered open as she looked around the room, trying to recall where she was or how she had gotten there. The loud beeping in the room brought her back to the reality of where she was. “Right,” She muttered, her voice hoarse and barely audible as she stared at the black spot on the white ceiling above her. “Why…” She trailed off, the words refusing to come out coherently. “Why… Why am I alive when my child is there? Why did I survive to bear all this pain?” She muttered, tears rolling down her cheeks. She suddenly sat up in bed, shaking her head. “No,” She sniffed as she removed the drip from her hand, ignoring the searing pain in her stomach as she tried to get out of bed. “My child must be here somewhere. I have to see my baby,” She sniffed. “I have to.” She let out a loud scream as she fell to the floor, landing on her stomach. “My baby,” She sobbed as she laid there, her shoulders slumping in defeat. “Where are you going?” Daniel questioned
