Stepping down from the cab, she raised her head to see the house in front of her.
It was a white Mansion which was big enough to accommodate a family of five. She slowly walked inside the compound and when she reached the entrance, she knocked on the door. The door opened and a man in his early twenties stepped forward with a curious stare on her.
“Is this Mr. Mark’s house?” Linda inquired, glancing at the paper in her hand.
“Yes. Who are you?” the man questioned, scrutinizing her.
“I’m Linda Smith. I’ve come to see Mr. Mark,” she said, using her father’s surname, hoping for recognition.
“Is there any problem because he died a few years ago,” the man replied, surprising Linda with the news.
