Ms. Olson stared at the transformed folders, her initial icy demeanor replaced by a grudging respect. "Not bad, Ms. O'Hara. Not bad at all. Resourceful, you said? I like that."
Taking a long drag from a newly lit cigarette, she continued. "Tell me about your experience working with clients. How do you handle challenging personalities?"
Scarlett relaxed a little, the ice broken. She used her ranch experience to her advantage, sharing stories of dealing with stubborn animals.
Ms. Olson snorted, a rare smile flickering across her lips. "Trickery, huh? Interesting. Give me an example."
