Marai didn't see the "friendly exchange" between Erin and Regina; she was observing the third bomb.
The moment she laid eyes on the bomb, Marai's initial calmness, tinged with excitement, vanished like water poured over a fire.
In an instant, Marai seemed as wilted as a frostbitten cabbage, her face showing clear signs of disappointment, even visible to the audience.
Squatting beside the bomb, Marai sighed, hugging her knees defensively.
