Scarlett sat across from Ryke at the restaurant, trying to enjoy her meal, but her stomach was in knots. As Ryke stirred the ice in his drink, he leaned in to Scarlett and said, "I'm starting to feel like work is taking over my life." Scarlett looked at him, concerned. "What do you mean?" she asked. "I mean that I barely have any time for anything else. I wake up early, go to work, come home late, and then just collapse into bed. I feel like I'm missing out on everything else in life," he explained, taking a sip of his drink. Scarlett nodded sympathetically. "I know how you feel. Sometimes I feel like work is all I have too," she admitted. Ryke sighed. "I don't want to live like this forever. I want to be able to enjoy life outside of work too. I want to travel, try new things, and just have fun," he said, his eyes distant. Scarlett smiled. "We can make that happen. We can plan a trip together and take a break from work.
