“Shhh.” Lucifer’s voice was cold. “Being too smart is not a good thing.”
Peter swallowed hard, lowered his head, and no longer dared to say a word.
He listened to Lucifer’s footsteps as they faded into the distance before he dared to lift his head.
After brewing three cups of coffee, Felicity handed a cup to Silas.
"Thank you, Miss Parker," Silas said with a humble nod.
Felicity sighed. "If you really want to thank me, just cooperate a bit and give us some space, okay?"
Silas hesitated.

Silas didn't want to leave, but Conrad said, "Leave!"
“Sir, I guarantee I won’t interject.”
“Get out!”
Silas had no choice but to leave and shut the door after himself.
In Felicity’s makeshift office, only she and Conrad remained.
She handed him a cup of coffee. "I ground the beans myself. It tastes pretty good. Give it a try."
Conrad accepted it and put it on the table. “Have I really known you since we were young?”
