"Miss Simpson, don't you like it?" Mabel asked and looked at Adeline dubiously. The young ladies who frequented her shop usually would complain about the gown not being revealing enough.
Adeline was embarrassed to look at Mabel for that. Even though these gowns were beautiful, they weren't how she liked them.
Meanwhile, Mabel was in a dilemma. These dresses were the best in their shop. Besides, they were designed by renowned designers, and many of them were one of the kind. If Adeline didn't like any of them, Mabel had no idea where else she could get one that suited her tastes.
Just when Mabel was thinking about other alternatives, a staff came up to Mabel with a package in her hand, "This is for Miss Simpson."
"Miss Simpson, your parcel," Mabel informed accordingly and handed it to Adeline with both hands.
"For me?" Adeline echoed back in doubt as she reached out to take it. She then put it on the table and began to unwrap it.
