Sure enough, things could easily be settled with money. "I'll let you off this time," Elijah said while rubbing his sleepy eyes as he left his bedroom.
"Good morning, Mommy and Wendy," Jeremiah greeted cheerfully.
"Good morning, little rascal," Wendy replied.
Grace was in the kitchen preparing breakfast.
"Go wash up quickly and have breakfast," Grace instructed. "Jeremiah, Wendy has found a kindergarten for you. We're going to enroll you today."
It was summer vacation, but the international kindergarten recommended by Wendy was open year-round. With Jeremiah attending school, Grace wouldn't have to worry about him being alone during the day. Plus, at his age, he needed to interact with other kids.
