Henry was silent for a minute. "I thought you wanted me to work as your gardener?" He asked. "Yes... That was what I wanted. However what I said was merely to test you. How bad would it be, if my daughter's husband was my gardener. Everyone would then assume that you are a live-in son-in-law. It would be a smear on my daughter's reputation. I wouldn't want that." Raphael said. "Oh.. I never thought of that. All I wanted was to make it up to her. I knew I hurt her, so I am willing to undergo any punishment to prove my sincerity." Henry said solemnly. "Do you think I would give my granddaughter to someone who would hurt my granddaughter?" Raphael asked. Henry looked at him squarely. Of course he wouldn't! The Stones weren't fools...
