Chapter 18

Frederick and Larry spent the next two hours discussing random things. The morning was almost over and it was time for lunch so both men headed out to eat lunch at a nearby restaurant. It took less than twenty minutes before they had arrived. Once there, both ate in relative silence as they watched the crowds walking by on the sidewalks, the sound of clanking forks filling the space between them. As they continued their lunch conversation, Fred noticed a man walk up towards the restaurant entrance looking around in search of a table. "You want to sit here?" Frederick asked him, pointing to the table. The man gave a small smile and nodded his head in response and he sat down opposite from the two. Both were quick to notice that they were seated directly across from each other which is when they realised that they had just been assigned seats by an invisible force.
