My gaze scanned the room, searching for any signs of familiarity. Behind the reception desk, a woman sat flipping through a magazine. It was past visiting hours, but Tristan Perez, the doctor, had kept the office open just for us. Getting an appointment with him was a daunting task for most but not for Sebastian. "Hello there. We are here to meet, Tristan." "Sorry, but it's past the visiting hour so there's nothing I can do for—" her words trailed off, as she looked up and noticed our presence. Her eyes widened, and she quickly stood up. Sebastian spoke before she could, a hint of confusion in his voice, "I suppose he didn't mention us?" "No, he did," she blurted out, her voice laced with embarrassment and dismay. "I'm so sorry, Alpha. It just slipped my mind. I apologise for the inconvenience." Sebastian offered her a
