Feeling wronged, Steven rubbed his chest pitifully. There was nothing else he could do other than to indulge Stephanie. "Are you guys crazy?" Xan wasn't planning to avoid the hit, yet the young woman's slap did not land on her. Her hand was grabbed and pushed away by the young man. He looked livid as he said, "Ashton went overseas, but I'm still here. Try bullying her again if you dare!" Xan's eyes were almost shooting hearts as she looked at the young man's back dreamily. Stephanie was exasperated. She forgot that Xan was at the age when she was into blondes—which meant nothing but trouble. "Xan's eyes are shining!"
