Far from the political plots of the grand hall, back at the camp, Luna Katherine was in her chambers, lost in meditation.
The room was dimly lit, with the candles that flickered all around her providing the sole source of light.
She was sitting cross-legged on a cushion with her eyes closed in concentration. The smell of burning incense filled the air, and smoke rose in thin tendrils around her.

So she'd gone back to her room and asked the ethereal spirits who had been her friends for so long for advice.
Luna Katherine felt herself going into a trance as the incense smoke swirled about her, her spirit leaving her body and ascending into the cosmos.
