CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY FOR THE PACK... FOR JAVION
LUCA'S POV
I could feel the adrenaline still pumping through my veins as Enzo and I sprinted through the dense forest, our paws tearing through the underbrush. The moonlight glinted off our fur, making us look like streaks of silver against the dark canopy. We’d finally made it back to the pack's territory, and the familiar scent of home was both a relief and a reminder of the mess we were in.
Once we were clear of the forest, we shifted back to our human forms, the transition quick but jarring. I felt the cool night air on my bare skin and quickly grabbed a pair of clothes from my pack. Enzo did the same, and I could see the worry etched in his eyes as he pulled on his shirt.
“Luca, we need to get everyone together,” Enzo said urgently, his voice low. “They need to know what’s going on.”
“Yeah, I know,” I replied, trying to keep my own anxiety in check. “Let’s head to the meeting hall. I’ll handle the briefing.”
