CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY-ONE THE BROKEN ALPHA
Javion's POV
Running through the forest in my wolf form, the branches and leaves whipped against my fur. My lungs burned with every breath, but I pushed myself harder.
The forest was a blur around me, and my mind was even more chaotic. Daphne was out there somewhere, and I had to find her.
I couldn’t let her slip away, not after everything that had happened.
The other wolves in the pack were with me, fanning out in all directions, their eyes sharp, their noses to the ground.
They could feel my desperation, my pain. I knew they were as determined as I was to find her, but it felt like an impossible task. The forest was vast, and Daphne could be anywhere.
“Where are you, Daphne?” I howled into the night, my voice echoing through the trees. I listened, straining to catch any hint of her scent, any sound that might lead me to her.
But there was nothing. Just the rustling of leaves and the occasional cry of a distant animal.
I stopped for a moment, my breath coming in ragged gasp
