He knew full well that Scott would not be pleased with what he was about to do. Scott was, at that moment, standing amongst the group of males. Although there were over two dozen of them in total, he was not outshone at all, and instead, his presence seemed to be accentuated by the sheer number of them. Scott's gaze landed on Naomi, who lowered her head as she checked the time. Her expression was calm and unmoving, as though she had no idea who was watching her. The way she kept her head bowed, ignoring his gaze, made it seem, at first glance, that she did not even know of his existence. Ian was staring at Scott, and upon noticing his gaze, he turned to glance at Naomi as well. He was not at all surprised to see that Naomi seemed bent on avoiding meeting Scott's eye. Ian turned to glance at Charles, who was standing a few feet away from Scott, with merely two people in between them. Like Scott, Charles' gaze was trained intently on Naomi. Ian sighed at this.
