Charles understood her intention and responded softly, "Alright."
As they continued walking at a steady pace, a little girl, around eight or nine years old, holding a basket in one hand and a fairy mask in the other, grabbed onto Naomi's pants.
"Hello, would you like to buy a fairy mask?"
Naomi stopped in her tracks. She looked at the mask, which, although labeled as a fairy mask, was rather plain and mass-produced. It was one of those cheap masks. However, it was certainly more attractive than the ones resembling monsters or ghosts.
Observing the little girl, who stood about waist-high to her, Naomi noticed the basket full of various masks. She glanced around and did not see any adults nearby.
"Are you selling these by yourself?" she asked.
