Olivia stood there, her hand still on the doorknob. She observed the harmonious scene inside, her fingers tightening.
They all saw her, yet none acknowledged her.
However, that did not matter. Lilian, Wendy, and the other person were not important. What mattered was Irene.
The person she most wanted to see, the person she most wanted to curry favor with, was treating her just like Lilian and Wendy did—ignoring her, treating her as if she were air.
