Sabrina had already fled far away at that point.
She was drowning in self-mockery.
Had she known, she would not have ordered the filters. She had asked someone to help buy them on her behalf. She was poor, but she had still spent over three hundred bucks on them.
Yet, before they could even arrive, she had been chased out. Thinking about it, she thought that she was such a joke. Right now, the filters were probably in Sebastian’s hands. He was probably looking down on them, smiling coldly as he threw them off the balcony.
Sabrina’s face turned bright red at the thought.
She had just wanted to thank him for the beautiful clothes and the laptop.
Now, she felt like she had been overthinking things, trying to show feelings toward someone that had never been interested.
She returned to her motel with a head full of thoughts. Lying down with her clothes on, she was unable to sleep.
Part of the reason was the filters, and the other half was because of Aunt Grace's illness.
