All my worries had been solved within a space of a day. I didn't have to run into my ex at work, nor did I have to contend with controlling the anger that surged through me at the mention of him.
I pulled my car to a halt at the location of the beach Trevor had said we should meet at.
Butterflies fluttered in my belly at the thought of meeting him again, and I bit down on a smile.
So, that was how love felt, I thought as I walked to join him.
