Trevor joined me in the suite room a few minutes later.
I had gone overboard earlier. I thought he was being irrational, but perhaps I was the one being irrational.
Trevor was right; if every philanthropist was talked out of sharing their goodwill with the world like I was doing to Trevor, there would be more people at a disadvantage.
"I'm sorry," I told him, fidgeting with my fingers before my thighs.
"It's alright," he said in a low voice.
But I knew it didn't stem from the depth of his heart. I had embarrassed him with my outburst.
"I'm sorry, Trevor. I had no right to yell at you in public. I embarrassed you."
"I said it was fine. You are right."
"I'm not. If you have it in mind to help Connor, then follow your heart's desires. Don't turn a blind eye to it."
He looked at me. "You're sure?"
"It's your call to make, Trevor. Although I hate getting involved in what isn't my concern, you are moved to help the boy, so do it. You will be putting a smile on his face and
