"You're still on that case?" Brock asked after our shift in the morning, stifling a yawn with the back of his hand.
His eyes were puffy, red, and watery from the lack of sleep overnight.
I didn't answer him because I already knew his opinion about my decision.
"Mmn," I grunted, changing directly out of my clothes into the ones I would be wearing home without taking a shower.
I didn't like using the factory's bathroom unless I was really pressed for it.
The ones built for the employees were worse in comparison to the ones used by those in the upper hierarchy.
Injustice for the masses was in every system. The rich had never stopped exploiting us.
We were the ones driving much of the wealth they enjoyed, yet we were being treated like lowlifes.
As if without us, they could have all that money that made them feel so on top of the world either.
