"It will get better after taking sufficient amount of rest," the veterinary doctor assured me.
I ran my fingers through Arrow's fur. He was heavily under anaesthetics and hadn't regained his consciousness.
"He," I corrected him.
"My apologies, Chairman Holden."
"Show some respect to your patients, will you?"
The vet bobbed his head in apology. "It was a slip of the tongue."
"Ensure it doesn't recur." I waved a finger to him in warning.
"Yes, sir."
"I will come back to check up on him."
"Yes. Arrow will be looking forward to your next visit.'
I left the vet's office and walked downstairs.
My driver awaited me with the backseat door held open as I approached the car, and I got into it.
"Take me to the general hospital," I instructed him, getting comfortable in the chair.
He nodded firmly and began driving.
The car glided fluidly across the highway, and in a few minutes later, we arrived our destination.
