CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY – STAFF MEETINGS
The rest of the afternoon passed in a whirlwind of clients, paperwork, and minor crises. By the time the last client left, Joan felt like she'd aged a year.
She gathered the staff in the conference room again for a debrief.
"Well, we made it," she said, unable to keep the exhaustion from her voice. "I know it wasn't perfect, but considering everything that happened, I think we did pretty well."
"Are all days going to be like this?" Mark asked, looking a bit shell-shocked.
Joan chuckled. "God, I hope not. But we learned a lot today, and we'll be better prepared tomorrow."
"I have to say," Dr. Chen spoke up, "despite the hiccups, I was impressed with how smoothly everything ran. You've put together a good team here, Joan."
Joan felt a warmth spread through her chest at the compliment. "Thank you, Emily. I couldn't agree more. Now, let's go over what worked and what didn't, so we can improve for tomorrow."
They spent the next hour discussing the day's events, brainstorming solution
