"I don't care where you are. You have one hour to come back," Liam barked, cutting her off before she could finish. He didn't want to hear a word from her right now. Everything she said only made him angrier. Ella glanced at the phone after he hung up on her, then looked over at Carter, who was sleeping beside her. She rarely had the chance to spend this much time with Carter. Still, she needed to confirm if Maya had left before deciding. She quietly stepped onto the balcony with her phone and called Maya. Maya saw the caller ID and grinned mischievously. She turned to Liam, who was still simmering in anger. "Guess who's calling me?" she teased. "What do you think Ella's going to say?"
