Chapter 925
Bradley tried to struggle out of the rope's confinement, unknowingly tightening it further. The rope began to sting his wrists.
A faint smell of blood lingered in the air.
Esther suddenly chuckled coldly as she watched Bradley's frantic attempts to break free, the sound echoing clear in the silent air.
Surrounded by darkness, Bradley strained his eyes but could only discern vague figures in the distance.
"Esther, I know it's you!" His gaze on the shadow in the dark carried a hint of coldness. "I'll count to three. Release me!"
Esther turned away without sparing Bradley a glance. How long had he been bound? And he could not take it anymore? Had he ever considered if the former Esther could endure this?
Esther didn't want to engage with Bradley, especially not now. He needed calm, serious thought. Unlike him, she had patience and would allow him ample space for contemplation.
She left the warehouse with measured steps, every tiny sound amplified in the vast space.
