Roy was fuming with anger. His wolf slowly taking over. He had feared something bad had happened to his mate due to his negligence, his wolf could feel it too. He had imagined she would need medical attention after passing out last night. He even imagined the worse scenario, which was her going into a coma, since she was human. But never did he imagine that he d find his cousin, Elijah, on his bedroom floor unconscious, in his own pool of blood, with his mate no where in sight. His anxiousness didn t let him pick up the all too familiar scent in his bedroom at first, but now that he knew why his wolf was restless did he perceive that bastard s scent in his bedroom. He turned into a half shift and ran out of the room with only one intent in mind, and that was to kill Hugh. He was stopped halfway into his journey by his uncle, who tackled him to the ground. "Don t go like this. You re not prepared." Alan said to him. "Let me go. You re letting him get away!"
