Joshua hadn't seen this side of Queenie coming. Despite her youth, she displayed an unexpected maturity in handling both emotions and finances—a kind of worldly wisdom that surprised him.
As he pondered this, Joshua wondered how Queenie would react if she knew he was the heir to the Newman Group.
"Mr. Newman, if we can't develop feelings for each other before finding someone else, there's no need for compensation," Queenie pointed out, referring to the last clause of the agreement. "Take it back, revise it, and bring it to me for signing."
