Jeremy drove Joshua to the university district and parked somewhere nearby. Joshua then got out and walked to Queenie's store.
Even from a distance, he could see students crowding around the store.
It was lunchtime, so he decided not to go in immediately since it was so busy.
Fortunately, the rush lasted only for a while. Soon, the shop became quieter.
Seeing that it was less crowded now, Joshua headed toward the shop. Before he reached the door, he saw Queenie step out, talking on the phone.
"I told you before, I've done it four times. It just can't happen again. Yeah, are you here yet? I'm waiting outside the shop. Okay, see you in a bit."
Joshua heard Queenie's conversation clearly. Although so many people were around, she didn't seem to care about discussing such a private matter out loud.
Most young women her age would handle this sort of thing discreetly. This was the first time Joshua had seen someone so indifferent about something so private.
