Richard drove while Jade sat in the passenger seat beside the driver.
All the way, Jade had her head tilted to the window as if she was immersed in her thoughts. She kept the window open, and the sounds of the cold breeze were heard.
Richard exerted more strength into his hands that held the steering wheel, while he constantly observed Jade’s expression. He curled his lips and gently asked, “Is your bag very important?”
