CHAPTER FOUR HUNDRED AND FIVE – THAT IS ONE HECK OF A FOREMAN
As she rolled up the plans, her phone buzzed with a text from Marco: "Dinner tonight? You deserve a break."
Jasmine smiled, quickly typing back a response: "Sounds perfect. Meet you at 8?"
A few hours later, Jasmine found herself seated across from Marco at their favorite Italian restaurant, a small, intimate place that reminded them both of the old Bistro.
"To us," Marco said, raising his wine glass. "And to surviving Antonio Rossi."
Jasmine laughed, clinking her glass against his. "I'll drink to that. Though I have to admit, as difficult as he can be, the man is a genius."
Marco nodded, taking a sip of his wine. "That he is. But so are you, love. I've seen how hard you've been working on this project. You're amazing, you know that?"
Jasmine felt a blush creep up her cheeks. "I'm just doing what needs to be done. This Bistro... it means so much to your family. To us."
