"E-Eva?"
Jill was the first to react. She grabbed Vera's phone and threw it away.
"Why are you still standing there? Get her out of here—now!" Jill yelled at the security guards.
I crouched down, tears streaming down my face, with my wig lying on the floor. I had always worried about it falling off, but I never thought it would come off and be shown live. I was scared to see how people would react online.
Everyone left, and Jill, panicked, tried to put the wig back on my head but couldn't get it right. She looked like she was about to cry, so I quickly took the wig from her.
"I'll do it myself," I said, trying to calm down and fix it.
Jill looked really sorry. "I should have stopped her earlier. I just thought it would be funny to let her make a scene."
I checked myself in the glass and quickly fixed my wig.
"It's not your fault. You've done so much for me. Thanks for everything today. If you hadn't helped, I would have been totally embarrassed. Who knows what stories
