"My dad?"
Astrid widened her eyes as she stared at me.
I wanted to say, "He's your dad." That was why I addressed him as such.
But her expression changed instantly, and then she burst out laughing.
"Jack, I told you that you look old! And you got mad at me when I told you that! Look, Eva mistook you for Dad! But don't worry. You're just a 30-year-old man with a 60-year-old heart."
