It was Julien.
Helen froze for a moment, forgetting where she was. A small, greedy part of her heart magnified his presence, making it impossible to look away. She watched as his silhouette slowly disappeared into the fading light.
Only when he was completely out of sight did Helen snap back to reality. She reminded herself that she and Julien were like two parallel lines—destined never to intersect again.
What Helen didn't expect was to hear from Julien's sister, Josie.
